Topic of the 2006 competition
Extension of the Château Barrière in the former gallo-roman town of Vesuna - today the city of Périgueux - in view of a change of its usage : creation of a cultural space of 500 to 600 m2 for meetings and exhibitions.
The Awards were distributed on Friday November 10th 2006, in the presence of Xavier Darcos, mayor of Périgueux, conseiller régional of Aquitaine, French Ambassador to the OCDE and Jean-Michel Wilmotte, President of la Fondation d’Entreprise Wilmotte.
The best projects of the 2006 Prix W are published in a book by Jean-Michel Place.
The Award Jury met on June the 29th and 30th.
The winners were:- 1st Prize: Camille LESCOUARCH et Hélène SIMONNET.
- 2nd Prize: Vassil KAYKOV et Daniela DIMITROVA.
- 3rd Prize: Barbara DURANTINI et Fabrizio FIORENTINO.
