Fondation Wilmotte : Competition

W Award 2007

W Award 2007

European architecture competition

The Wilmotte Foundation renews this year the W Award competition. The competition endeavours to consciously encourage the importance of preserving European heritage and its evolution in a contemporary world by the idea of an architectural "graft".

The competition is aimed at students and newly qualified young European architects. The theme of this year's competition is the re-qualification of an industrial wasteland, a topical heritage, which will be integrated within an urban, landscaped setting.

The 2007 competition theme

Revitalization of the flour mill of Lepoivre at Saint-Venant, Pas-de-Calais
(62350), France.
