Identifying and recognising exceptional talents

A principal purpose of the Wilmotte Foundation is to support and accompany young architects and artists in the first stages of their careers.

The Foundation organizes international competitions to identify and recognize young, exceptional talents, and to awaken up and coming generations of architects to the importance of marrying heritage and innovation.

This year, the W Award, is open to students and young graduates of European architecture schools. It's international jury of renowned architects, artists and journalists will reward excellent projects with the possibility to participate in ongoing architectural developments.

Preserving and diffusing our architectural heritage

In order to help build the architectural memory of tomorrow, the Wilmotte Foundation sets up a fund of works of excellence of great contemporary architects from Carlo Scarpa to the present day.

The Foundation will organize exhibitions and conferences throughout Europe and abroad to help raise awareness of the importance of architectural grafting for the quality of our cultural environment.

Finally, the Foundation will publish regularly on its activities, with the aim of transmitting the emotions and savoir-faire that make architecture such a distinctive and enchanting art.
